Take the People Mover from Piazzale Roma

At Piazzale Roma, a sign directs people to the station entrance.

The signalized entrance to the People Mover station is located on the southwest corner of Piazzale Roma, next to the parking station.

As you enter the building, you will see three ticket vending machines on your left. Whether you’re headed to the Marittima Cruise Terminal or up to Tronchetto, the fare is €1.50 for a one-way ticket.

A set of escalators takes you to the platform level of the. There is also an elevator that allows wheelchair travelers to board the People Mover.

At the platform, glass walls enclose the train track from the platform where the train arrives. An electronic indicator above the door tells you when the next train will arrive.

When the train arrives, the glass door on the far side opens to let passengers off, after which the door on the boarding side opens to let passengers on.

The train then continued to Tronchetto for people headed to the parking lot.
